Avast Smart Scan Vs Full Scan

What timestamp is meant here? What if the timestamp was manipulated by a threat to prevent discovery? Please, convince me that smart optimization is safe to use! From one PC to initiate a scan on the other laptop. Seconds later, the second laptop began scanning, and to my surprise, when I checked the scan on the second laptop, the scan was named 'Quick Scan'. I'm getting the feeling the Quick Scan functionality is still built in AVG Antivirus, but is probably hidden within the 'Full Computer Scan' option. Will a Full system scan cover all the things a Smart scan does, or are they 2 separate types of scan, its just that i have raised a Tech support ticket as Smart scan sticks @ 43% on Network scan even after a reinstall,but if the full scan covers all items then i will settle or just doing that.
