Hey!I have a Windows XP Pro PC and I want to completely disable Autorun (Autorun.inf) on USB devices. I went to the Microsoft page and followed their advice to use gpedit.msc. But since there are so much information on that page and I am not so experienced anddo not have so much knowledge about computers.Is it enough just to use Gpedit.msc to disable Autorun.inf on removable storages on Windows XP ProWill Gpedit.msc also work on memory cards?

This is the problem.Autoplay and Autorun seem to be two different things and from what I have understood it is this:Autoplay is the box that comes up as soon as you put in a USB media in your computerAutorun is something that as soon as you put in your media does what autorun.inf says (if the USB media has autorun.inf)I am not sure, but can will Autorun be disabled if you disable Autoplay?
