Easy worship 2009 fernando simangunsong. I hope you are all doing well and training your belly's for thanksgiving. I know I am:)I'm having an issue with one printer taking a very long time (8 Min) to scan to email.Normal scanning, or scanning to a network folder time is normal, it's just the emailing that takes a long time. The printer is aHP LaserJet 400 MFP M425dn and using SMTP.We have 14 other printers of the same make/model on our network and none of them have this issue.Does anyone have any troubleshooting ideas? Davecork wrote:If you're using a friendly name for your mail server, try using the IP of the mail server instead.Check the DNS settings on the printer. If your mail server is off site, make sure that your printer is allowed to send SMTP traffic outbound through the firewall. The mail server is hosted by Microsoft Office 365 and from what they told me, they use dynamic public IPs so that wouldnt work. The DNS settings are correct. The emails do eventually go through, it just takes a very long time. So I don't think it has anything to do with the firewall (?).

If you experience a long delay in your incoming email, this issue might be caused by an over crowded IMAP server. All IMAP server have a limitation on how many connection is allowed to be connected to it at the same time.

Check to make sure you have the same firmware revision on this one, as you have on the other 14.Is this MFP scanning to an Office 365 profile not used by any of the other 14?If so you can always try changing the mailbox profile your scanning to, to one that is not having a problem on one of the other MFP's. That will help you to rule out a corrupt Outlook profile in O365.If you try another mailbox and the scan to email goes through without the long delay your having now.

I would check the O365 profile for issues, and possible corruption.
