Dec 3, 2013 - RCRN uses the power behind a custom FXAA Post Process Injector to generate a realistic color palette without ruining the original feeling. Realistic colors and real nights.

Aug 16, 2007  On RTW i installed the realism and it doesnt work i got version 1.5 and i installed the realism mods 5.0, 6.0, and 6.1 or 2 i already forgot lol but when i. This mod REQUIRES the official Rome Total War patch v1.1. Install the patch first, and then install this mod. To install, simply extract to your Rome main folder. All of the needed files should extract to the correct folders themselves. Make SURE you make a back up of ALL the files ending in.txt in this folder. Kingdoms is the most content-rich expansion ever produced for a Total War game, with four new entire campaigns centered on expanded maps of the British Isles, Teutonic Northern Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. In Medieval II, you were only given a tantalizing glimpse of South America, but.

I think what you are looking for is historical + fun, right? For example, Rome was pretty strong in the Ancient world, but even in DEI you can conquer the world as Gual. DEI does add more historical depth to Rome II, but it's primary goal is to alter mechanics of vanila Rome II to add strategic depth.

For example, when you recruit a unit in vanilla Rome II, if you have the money, you recruit it. In DEI, you have to have the money AND available man power in your man power pool, you can recruit it. This manpower mechanic imposes a kind of limit, punishing you for excessive losses, slows down your campagin movement across the map, etc. Both concepts are abstractions of what is realistically accurate, but DEI's version is definately deeper, albeit slower. You really can't go wrong with DEI, but you should look at it as more pushing slower progress with more strategic options, and adding relasim second. Personally I'd buy the Total War that had the time period that appealed the most to you. If you like line infantry battles, there are some great mods for Napoleon: Total War as well, and Attila: Total War I found pretty fun in tghe Charlemange DLC.

If you don't play TTW series for battles but strategic fun with historic background I would suggest CK2 for the medieval period, with the mod HIP it takes as historic as it could on that basis. Isn't perfect, can't say about a total historic game(or even novel) but the vanilla game is hard-scripted with tons of possibilities and HIP mod has events for almost everything important that happent on the time-period, from s.VIII to XVII.But no battles, just management and micromanagement;) I have fun with it but understanding is not a game for all kind of players, and personally toke me like 100h figure out lots of mechanics xDStill the most rewarding and complex game ever played- If you fancy is 10€ on sales and ignore all bloody DLCs until you're confident on it to expend more.
